Be One of the First to Play SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance at the Hypegolf Clubhouse in NYC

 

SEGA is bringing back one of its most famous ninja games, and New York City will be one of the first places to experience it. Starting September 6, fans can head to the Hypegolf Clubhouse in SoHo to play SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance before its official release.

For three days, the lower level of 147 Grand Street will transform into a SEGA Gaming Lounge. Visitors will get hands-on time with the new game on PS5, while also checking out classic titles like Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master on the Genesis Mini. The space will also showcase artwork from past and present Shinobi games, blending nostalgia with excitement for the new era.

Guests can look forward to more than just gaming. SEGA will be giving out exclusive posters, and a special Anti Social Social Club x Shinobi collaboration will feature limited-edition tees inspired by the franchise. This event combines gaming, streetwear, and culture in one immersive setup.

Developed by Lizardcube and published by SEGA, SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance brings back legendary ninja Joe Musashi. Players will use his katana, shuriken, and mystical Ninpo powers to fight against the villainous Lord Ruse. The game mixes hand-drawn animation, fluid combat, skill trees, and modern level design, staying true to Shinobi’s roots while offering new mechanics for today’s gamers.

This is the first new Shinobi game in nearly 15 years, making it a big moment for fans of the series. Whether you’re a longtime follower or new to the franchise, the Clubhouse event is the perfect chance to step into Shinobi’s world and celebrate nearly 40 years of ninja action.
