Nike is celebrating 30 years of the classic Air Max 95 by bringing back a fan-favorite colorway — the “Bright Mandarin.” Originally released in 2011, this colorful version of the sneaker is set to hit stores again on June 6.
The Nike Air Max 95 OG “Bright Mandarin” features a mix of white mesh and grey suede on the upper, following the shoe’s signature gradient style. This design was inspired by the human body, with layers that represent muscle and bone. What makes this pair stand out is the bright orange (mandarin) color used on the lace loops, tongue logo, and mini Swoosh on the side.
Another cool detail is the 3M reflective material, which shines under light, and the orange-tinted Air units in the sole that give it a fresh pop of color. The sneaker also comes in the original “Big Bubble” shape, making it feel just like the classic '90s version.
Nike is releasing the “Bright Mandarin” Air Max 95 through Nike SNKRS and select retailers for $190 USD. If you’re a fan of retro sneakers or missed out on the 2011 drop, this is your chance to grab a bold and stylish pair from Nike’s archives.
Get ready to shop the pair starting June 6!
