First Look at the Virgil Abloh Archive x Nike Air Force 1 Low

Virgil Abloh’s creative influence continues to shine even after his passing, as seen in the latest “Virgil Abloh: The Codes” exhibition in Paris. The showcase honors his visionary work and introduces a new collaboration between Virgil Abloh Archive (V.A.A.) and Nike, unveiling a fresh take on the Air Force 1 Low — one of the most iconic sneakers in Abloh’s portfolio.

This newly revealed design pays tribute to Virgil’s signature aesthetic, blending luxury with streetwear. The pair features a forest green leather upper, highlighted by a metallic silver Swoosh — a familiar design element from his museum-exclusive Air Force 1s. On the medial side, bold “V.A.A. for NIKE” branding appears in yellow text, replacing the traditional Off-White™ industrial markings. Completing the look are white “SHOELACES” text on green laces and a white zip tie, both nods to Abloh’s unmistakable design DNA.

While this Air Force 1 Low appears to be part of a special exhibition collection, there’s currently no confirmation that it will release to the public. Fans of Abloh’s work, however, can expect this to be just one of many tributes emerging from his creative archives, as his legacy continues to inspire future collaborations and cultural moments.
