Jacob & Co. Blurs the Line Between Horology and Art With $300,000 USD 'The Godfather' Sculpture Table

Jacob & Co. has teamed up with Costa Design Studio to create something truly unique — The Godfather Sculpture Table. Inspired by the brand’s Opera Godfather timepiece, this luxury piece transforms a collector’s watch into a functional work of art.

Designed by Pedro Costa, the table is both bold and intricate. Priced at $300,000 USD, it is built from over 350 individual parts, all carefully hand-assembled into seven sections. Materials like stainless steel, glass, leather, and aluminum give it strength and elegance. Measuring 135 x 80 x 76 cm and weighing 170 kg, it is as monumental as it is detailed.

At its heart, the table features a Swiss and German mechanical movement with a 7-day power reserve, paying tribute to its horological roots. Just like the original watch, it also houses music boxes that play Nino Rota’s iconic Godfather theme, along with scaled-up details such as violin and piano-inspired designs and even a tri-axial tourbillon.

With only 20 pieces available worldwide, The Godfather Sculpture Table is not just furniture — it’s a rare collector’s masterpiece. Combining cinema, music, watchmaking, and design, it reflects Jacob & Co.’s storytelling power and Costa Design’s sculptural brilliance.
