Timex is bringing back a piece of watchmaking history with the SSQ Digital Reissue, a faithful recreation of its first-ever LCD digital watch originally released in 1975. This classic timepiece was a milestone in the brand’s journey during the quartz revolution, symbolizing the era’s fascination with futuristic technology and digital precision.

In the 1970s, the watch industry experienced a major shift with the rise of quartz and digital technology. Timex responded by creating the SSQ, its first LCD digital watch, marking a bold move into the modern age.
