At Geneva Watch Days 2025, H. Moser & Cie. introduced two new versions of its Pioneer Flying Hours timepiece, celebrating 10 years of the Pioneer collection and 7 years since the debut of the Flying Hours complication.
The watch uses three rotating discs for the hours that orbit around a central minute disc, creating a “wandering hours” display. This design, inspired by old satellite systems, allows the hours to jump instantly for better readability. With no logos or markers, the clean dial highlights the movement of the discs – almost like watching a small mechanical dance.
The 42.8 mm case comes in two styles:
-
Red Gold Limited Edition – made from 5N red gold with black DLC titanium inserts and a sparkling aventurine dial that looks like a starry sky. It comes with a black rubber strap.
-
Steel Version – features a white fumé dial with a sleek industrial look. It comes with a gray rubber strap.
Both models include curved sapphire crystals, pump-style crowns, and are water-resistant up to 12 ATM.
Inside is the HMC 240 automatic caliber, running at 21,600 vph and offering a 72-hour power reserve. Collectors can admire the back through the sapphire case: the gold model has a solid red gold rotor, while the steel version carries a tungsten rotor.
The aventurine dial model is limited to 100 pieces and priced at $49,900 USD, while the steel white fumé version is unlimited and priced at $41,200 USD.
