One-of-One Porsche 718 Spyder RS Panamericana to Hit RM Sotheby’s Auction

RM Sotheby’s is preparing to auction an incredibly special Porsche: the 2024 Porsche 718 Spyder RS Panamericana. This one-of-a-kind car was created through Porsche’s Sonderwunsch program and commissioned by Porsche Mexico as a tribute to La Carrera Panamericana, one of Porsche’s most historic races.

The car is finished in Centenaire Silver paint and features 20-inch forged magnesium wheels with TAG Heuer logos. Signal Yellow racing roundels carry the number 55, honoring Hans Herrmann’s class-winning 1954 Carrera Panamericana run. Inside, Carmine Red stitching, Panamericana logos on the headrests, and Mexican flag–inspired illuminated door sills highlight the car’s cultural and historical significance. The car even carries Herrmann’s personal autograph, making it truly unique.

Performance features include the Weissach package, PCCB brakes, bucket seats, BOSE Surround Sound, and the Chrono package. Built to Mexican specifications and in nearly new condition, it has only delivery mileage. A portion of the auction proceeds will benefit TECHO, Make-A-Wish, and World Vision, combining the excitement of a rare collectible with support for charitable causes.
