Nike and Zellerfeld Reveal Futuristic 3D-Printed Air Max 1000 in Black

Nike has joined hands with 3D-printing innovator Zellerfeld to release a special version of the Air Max 1000 in a bold "Black" colorway. This unique sneaker is not made the usual way — it's fully 3D-printed, showcasing new technology that might shape the future of footwear.

The all-black sneaker features web-like textures and geometric patterns that you wouldn't normally see on regular shoes. These intricate designs are only possible through advanced 3D printing, making the shoe look modern, artistic, and almost sculptural.

This Air Max 1000 still includes the classic visible Air cushioning that fans love, but now with a twist — it’s paired with a brand-new production method. Nike is using this collaboration to experiment with new ways of making sneakers, showing that it’s ready to evolve while staying connected to its roots.

Originally thought to be limited to just 300 pairs, Zellerfeld has clarified that the final number of pairs will be limited, but not confirmed. What we do know is that the “Black” version will be available exclusively on Zellerfeld, while its “Oat” version will drop separately through a 10-minute drawing on Nike SNKRS.

If you're into future tech, bold design, and rare releases, this sneaker is one to watch.
