Independent watchmaker MING is celebrating its eighth anniversary with a special release – the 57.04 Iris. This watch is not only MING’s first left-handed chronograph but also the debut of its new fifth-generation design style.
The 40 mm stainless-steel case gives it a bold look while still being comfortable for daily use. Its dial is the star feature – made from brass and treated with an “Iris” coating, it shines in shifting colors of turquoise, purple, and blue depending on how light hits it. The domed sapphire crystal and laser-cut luminous markers add depth and elegance to the design. The case also shows off polished and brushed details, while the stepped lugs bring in a touch of Art Deco styling.
Inside, the watch runs on a custom Sellita Cal. SW562.M1 monopusher chronograph movement. It has been specially adapted for left-handed wearers with the crown and pusher on the left side. A 30-minute counter at 6 o’clock glows with Super-LumiNova, making it practical as well as stylish. The movement’s anthracite finish and 4N-coated plate give it a modern, refined feel.
With 100 meters of water resistance, the 57.04 Iris is built for both everyday wear and special occasions.
