Vans Skateboarding and Montréal-based skate brand Dime have joined forces to create a brand-new shoe — the Skate Era Stub. This design is inspired by the original Vans Era, first released in 1976 as the world’s first skate shoe made by skaters, for skaters.
Almost 50 years later, the Skate Era Stub keeps the same spirit but adds a modern twist. It features updated proportions and the latest Vans technology for skaters. With SickStick™ rubber for strong grip, PopCush™ insoles for better cushioning, and Duracap™ reinforcements for durability, the shoe is built to handle both style and performance.
To celebrate, Vans and Dime have launched a special campaign featuring well-known skaters like Conor Neeson, Max Wasangu, and Una Farrar. The shoe comes in clean, minimalist colorways of white and tan, reflecting Dime’s signature style.
The official release will take place on August 30, exclusively at Dime and on-site at the Dime Glory Challenge — which also marks the event’s 10th anniversary.
