IWC Unveils Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 TOP GUN Miramar in Striking Light Blue

 

IWC is adding a fresh splash of color to its popular TOP GUN watch collection with the launch of two new Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 TOP GUN Miramar editions. These watches bring a cool light blue tone to the spotlight — a shade created in collaboration with Pantone®, inspired by the shirts worn by real TOP GUN instructors.

The highlight of the release is a limited-edition ceramic model, with only 1,000 pieces made. The light blue ceramic case is made by carefully blending zirconium oxide and metallic oxides to achieve the perfect color. This process takes multiple tests to get the right shade and consistency. The case, dial, and rubber strap all match in this unique blue, creating a bold and stylish look.

Inside, the watch runs on IWC’s 69380 chronograph movement, which uses a column-wheel design for smooth operation and offers 46 hours of power reserve. The case back is made of titanium and features a TOP GUN logo engraving, while a special inner layer protects the movement from magnetic fields.

Alongside the ceramic model, IWC is also releasing a stainless steel version — the first non-ceramic watch in the TOP GUN line to use a Pantone® color. This version has the same blue dial and strap, but with a polished 41mm steel case. It includes rhodium-plated hands with Super-LumiNova® for glow-in-the-dark visibility, and a see-through case back that shows off the in-house 69385 movement.

Both versions come with IWC’s EasX-CHANGE® system, which lets users quickly swap out straps to suit their style. Whether you prefer the high-tech feel of ceramic or the timeless appeal of stainless steel, these new Miramar editions bring a fresh twist to a classic pilot’s watch.
