New Balance is getting ready for Spring/Summer 2025 with two stylish new versions of the 990v6, designed by Teddy Santis, the creative director of the brand’s Made in USA line.
The two upcoming sneakers are called “Clay Ash” and “Vintage Indigo.” The “Vintage Indigo” pair will drop in July, while “Clay Ash” is set to release in September.
Both shoes keep the classic 990 look but add modern updates. They’re made with premium mesh and suede on the upper part for comfort and durability. You'll also find the familiar 990 heel badge and a new heel clip, which adds to the design and improves support. Underneath, the sneakers use a modern sole unit that gives better cushioning and comfort for everyday wear.
These new colorways stay true to the 990’s history, while also offering a fresh style for the new season. Keep an eye on New Balance’s website for the official release and pricing details.
If you love clean design and high-quality sneakers, the 990v6 “Clay Ash” and “Vintage Indigo” might just be your next favorites.
