New Balance is getting ready to release a new version of its popular 9060 sneaker in a simple but stylish “Black/Grey” colorway. This fresh pair is expected to arrive in Summer 2025 and will be priced at $150 USD.
The 9060 model is known for its chunky, retro look inspired by the early 2000s, also called the Y2K era. It’s a favorite for everyday wear thanks to its bold design and all-day comfort.
This “Black/Grey” version comes with a mostly black upper, made with a mix of mesh and suede, giving it a nice balance between breathability and texture. Soft grey accents are added throughout the shoe to create a clean, modern contrast.
The design includes the 9060’s signature wavy lines, oversized sole, and sculpted midsole pods that house ABZORB and SBS cushioning for a comfortable feel with every step. At the back, there’s a translucent CR device for added style and structure, while the diamond-patterned outsole takes inspiration from classic New Balance running shoes like the 860.
