Nike is turning up the heat in Dubai with a brand-new running challenge to celebrate the launch of its latest running shoe — the Vomero 18. If you’ve already done a Couch to 5K, this is your chance to level up!
As part of this challenge, runners in Dubai are being asked to complete as many 10K runs as they can in 10 days. The event highlights the Nike Vomero 18, a high-performance road running shoe designed for comfort and speed. It features Nike’s famous ZoomX foam and ReactX midsole, making it ideal for long-distance runs. The shoe also comes in bold colors like “Barely Green/Hyper Crimson” and “Dusty Cactus/Geode Teal.”
To make things even more exciting, Nike has set up a special Vomero Clubhouse pop-up at Kite Beach in Dubai. Participants can pick up a free pair of Vomero 18s and run a 10K from Point Zero with the help of Nike ambassadors and the Uncommon Run Club. After the run, they can relax and enjoy coffee and smoothies from Feels Café.
Even after the event ends, runners can continue the challenge by tracking their runs on Strava. A special leaderboard will track who completes the most 10Ks, and the top runners will win cool prizes — including a spot in the Copenhagen Half Marathon this September.
