For the first time, a Pagani Huayra R is heading to a public auction, making it a landmark moment for hypercar enthusiasts. This particular 2022 Pagani Huayra R, chassis 005, is one of only 30 track-only examples ever built. It will be offered by RM Sotheby’s during their Paris Sale, with estimates reaching up to $3,300,000 USD.
Under the hood, the Huayra R features a naturally aspirated 6.0L V12 engine, custom-built by HWA AG. This high-revving powerhouse can reach up to 9,000 rpm and delivers an impressive 850 horsepower through a six-speed sequential gearbox. Weighing just 2,314 lbs, thanks to its carbon-titanium construction, the Huayra R is designed for breathtaking speed and agility on the track.
Chassis 005 comes with a custom specification that added over $318,000 USD to its base price. The car’s exposed carbon fiber body is accented with Bronzo Chiaro, Bianco Fabriano, and Rosso Dubai stripes. Its 19-inch forged Bronzo Chiaro wheels and Brembo ceramic brakes with bronze calipers complete the stunning look.
Inside, the hypercar showcases a blend of luxury and performance. The cockpit features matte carbon fiber finishes, anodized matte black aluminum details, and dark grey Alcantara upholstery. The Huayra R logo is embroidered on the racing seats, emphasizing its track-focused design.
Having covered just 121 miles, this meticulously maintained car comes with an extensive factory spares package, including extra wheels and tires. Bidding begins on February 4, offering collectors a rare chance to own this masterpiece of engineering and design.
