Seiko has teamed up with baseball star Shohei Ohtani to create two special edition Prospex watches. Inspired by the Los Angeles Dodgers team colors, these watches are perfect for fans of both Ohtani and luxury timepieces.
The first model, SBEJ023, is based on Seiko’s Mechanical Divers 1968 Heritage GMT. It features a bold black design with a blue bezel that highlights the Dodgers' colors. Red accents on the GMT hand and logo add a sporty touch, and Ohtani’s jersey number, 17, is engraved on the crown.
The second model, SBEJ025, offers a fresh look with a white dial that contrasts beautifully with its blue and red details. Both watches include Ohtani’s signature on the clasp and a special engraving on the back that reads “SHOHEI OHTANI LIMITED EDITION,” along with the watch’s unique serial number.
Seiko is keeping these watches truly exclusive. Only 1,700 pieces of the black SBEJ023 model and just 500 pieces of the white SBEJ025 model will be made. Each watch is priced at approximately ¥330,000 JPY.
