Nissan Automobile Technical College students are showcasing their creativity with three unique custom cars for the 2025 Tokyo Auto Salon (TAS). These exciting builds, crafted by students from the Aichi and Kyoto campuses, blend nostalgia with modern design.
The first car, the NEO Skyline, reimagines the iconic Kenmary Skyline. Built by fourth-year students in Kyoto, it uses the CV35 Skyline Coupe as its base. The custom “Tomoaki Blue” paint with a pearl finish is a tribute to the classic bright metallic blue of the original Kenmary Skyline, giving it a retro-modern vibe.
Next is the Z Lealia, also designed by Kyoto students. This innovative car combines the practicality of a family vehicle with the performance of a sports car. It’s based on the M35 Stagea, with the rear section borrowed from a Nissan LEAF and wide fenders inspired by the Fairlady Z. Its bold “Ikazuchi Yellow” color mirrors the RZ34 Fairlady Z, making it a true standout.
From the Aichi campus, third-year students created the Bluebird Kiwami, a luxurious and sporty update to the classic PU11 Bluebird Maxima. With a sleek “Aurora Flare Blue Pearl” finish, this car blends comfort and sophistication with a sporty edge, showcasing the students’ vision of a premium sedan.
These impressive builds will be on display at the Tokyo Auto Salon from January 10 to 13. They reflect the students’ passion and talent, giving car enthusiasts plenty to admire.
