Nike is gearing up for the “Year of the Snake” collection in celebration of the upcoming Lunar New Year. As part of this collection, the Nike Dunk Low will be releasing in Spring 2025, bringing a fresh take on a classic design with a unique, serpentine twist.
The Dunk Low features some key "Year of the Snake" elements, including a red snakeskin tongue and snake-inspired lining. The shoe’s design also incorporates olive-colored leather on the toe box, quarter, and collar sections, paired with white nubuck overlays. For added flair, the Swoosh and backtab have a subtle metallic green tint, with red stitching on the lateral side to make the design pop.
This Dunk Low is the second model to feature the “Year of the Snake” theme, following a grade school edition. However, the Kobe 5 Year of the Mamba will be the most anticipated release of the collection, set to drop next February 2025.
The Nike Dunk Low “Year of the Snake” for adults is expected to hit Nike.com and other retailers in late January or early February 2025, just in time for the Lunar New Year celebrations. Keep an eye out for this special release, as it’s sure to be a sought-after addition to any sneaker collection.
