Citizen has introduced a brand-new watch in its famous Promaster line — the Promaster Sky U830. This watch combines aviation-inspired design with modern technology, perfect for pilots, travelers, or anyone who loves smart and stylish timepieces.
After celebrating 30 years of Eco-Drive watches last month, Citizen is now focusing on the future. The Sky U830 features a brand-new Caliber U830 movement, which blends traditional analog hands with a digital Memory-in-Pixel (MIP) display. This means you get the best of both worlds — a classic look with smart digital functions built in.
The watch comes in a 43mm stainless-steel case, available in silver or black, and includes a durable stainless-steel bracelet. The dial features three sub-dials at 12 o’clock and a slide-rule bezel, a tool used by pilots to do quick flight calculations. The case is topped with sapphire crystal and has anti-reflective coating, making it easy to read in sunlight.
It’s also built tough — with 20 bar water resistance, luminous hands and hour markers, and wing-inspired lugs that connect smoothly to the bracelet.
The digital part of the watch adds even more features, including world time, a chronograph, and multiple alarms, all shown on the digital screen without making the watch bulky.
The Citizen Promaster Sky U830 is now available through official Citizen stores and authorized dealers, with prices ranging from $635 to $795 USD depending on the version you choose.
