New Balance is bringing back one of its classic sneakers, the 770, but this time with a new twist. Originally released in the 1990s as a cross-training shoe, the New Balance 770 has now been redesigned for skateboarding under the New Balance Numeric line.
The updated 770 combines the vintage style of the old design with modern skate-ready features. Skaters will notice reinforced toe caps for extra durability, a sturdy heel frame for support, and high-quality materials that can handle daily wear.
Two new colorways are set to launch. The first, “Black/Grey”, keeps things clean and classic with black nubuck and suede, paired with subtle grey details. The second, “Grey/Purple-Black”, has a bolder style with a grey suede base, muted green accents, and pops of purple on the logo and heel. Both versions are priced at $125 USD.
With this release, New Balance Numeric shows its focus on combining smart design with skate functionality, giving skaters a shoe that’s both stylish and built to perform.
