The Toyota GR Supra will officially serve as the pace car for the 2025 National Auto Sport Association (NASA) Championships. The event will take place from September 4–7 at Ozarks International Raceway in Missouri. This is the first time the Supra has been chosen for this role, though other GR sports cars have paced NASA events before.
The Supra will wear a bold Toyota GAZOO Racing design in red, white, and black as it leads racers around the 3.97-mile track, which is known for its steep hills and challenging 19 turns. Toyota says this partnership highlights its passion for performance and grassroots racing.
Since 2019, every buyer of a GR sports car — whether GR Corolla, GR86, or GR Supra — has received a free one-year NASA membership and a complimentary High Performance Driving Event track day. This gives owners the chance to learn performance driving in a safe and fun way.
The GR Supra taking on the pace car role is also special because the model is nearing its finale. The 2026 MkV Final Edition will be limited to just 1,300 units in North America, featuring a powerful 382-hp turbocharged inline-six engine.
