Snow Peak and Merrell have joined forces once again, this time updating the sleek MTL Long Sky 2 trail runner with a technical, all-black makeover. Designed for outdoor enthusiasts, the new MTL Long Sky 2 Matryx SP balances a simple look with advanced performance features.

Unlike their previous chunky Moab Speed 2 GORE-TEX collaboration, this pair goes for a slimmer, more minimal design. The upper is made with MATRYX® +TPU reinforcement — a strong combination of Kevlar fiber and high-strength polyamide. This makes the shoe lightweight, abrasion-resistant, and highly durable while keeping a breathable feel.

The all-black colorway takes inspiration from the charcoal of a campfire, featuring tonal branding with the Merrell wordmark on the side and Snow Peak logos on the heel and insole. It’s a clean, understated design built to handle rugged trails without sacrificing style.
