Mercedes-Maybach S 680 Edition Emerald Isle Celebrates California’s Beauty

Mercedes-Maybach has revealed the S 680 Edition Emerald Isle, a very special version of its flagship sedan. Inspired by California’s Central Coast, this luxury car is limited to only 25 units, available exclusively in the U.S.

On the outside, it features a unique two-tone paint — Mid Ireland Green Metallic with Moonlight White Metallic — highlighted by chrome touches and 21-inch Maybach Champagne Flute Forged wheels.

Inside, the cabin is wrapped in hand-stitched Light Brown Nappa leather with soft comfort pillows, a quilted Black Nappa leather headliner, and Black Piano Lacquer trim with silver chrome details. Exclusive badging reading “Edition Emerald Isle 1 of 25” emphasizes its rarity.

The car also comes with a new, custom fragrance as part of its Air Balance system. With cedarwood, cypress, and sea salt notes, the scent reflects the California coastline. Each buyer will also receive a handcrafted leather gift box with two keys and an extra fragrance bottle.

Luxury amenities include the Executive Rear Seat Package Plus, a four-seat setup, a rear refrigerator, and Maybach champagne flutes. Under the hood, a handcrafted 6.0-liter V12 biturbo engine produces 621 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 9-speed automatic and Maybach’s 4MATIC all-wheel drive. The AIRMATIC air suspension with Adaptive Damping ensures a smooth ride.
