Google Launches Pixel 10 Series With Four New Phones and Its Most Advanced Chip

 

Google has officially introduced its Pixel 10 lineup, marking the 10th generation of its popular smartphone series. Unveiled at the Made by Google event hosted by Jimmy Fallon, the lineup includes four phones: the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. All four devices run on Google’s new Tensor G5 chip, which powers faster performance and smarter on-device AI.

The phones debut with Gemini Nano AI, which Google says is now 2.6x faster and twice as efficient, as well as a refreshed Android system called Material 3 Expressive. This updated design focuses on personalization, smooth animations, and a more fluid user experience.

The Pixel 10 is the entry model, featuring a 6.3-inch Actua display that reaches 3,000 nits brightness, a metal frame, and a 5x telephoto camera with 20x Super Res Zoom. It will be available in Obsidian, Frost, Indigo, and Lemongrass.

For more advanced users, the Pixel 10 Pro (6.3-inch) and Pixel 10 Pro XL (6.8-inch) offer premium builds, larger batteries, 16GB of RAM, improved speakers, and Google’s best-ever camera system with 100x zoom and 50MP photos. These models also support the new Qi2 wireless charging standard and will be released alongside Google’s new Pixelsnap accessories.

The biggest announcement is the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, which Google calls its “most durable foldable yet.” Built with aerospace-grade aluminum and a gearless hinge, it promises twice the durability of its predecessor. The foldable also boasts an IP68 rating, making it the first foldable phone with full water and dust resistance, and is designed to withstand 10+ years of folding. It launches in Moonstone and Jade colorways.

Pre-orders are now open, with the Pixel 10 ($799), Pixel 10 Pro ($999), and Pixel 10 Pro XL ($1,199) launching on August 28, 2025, while the Pixel 10 Pro Fold ($1,799) will arrive on October 9, 2025.
