Bugatti has introduced a brand-new customization program called Programme Solitaire, offering one-of-a-kind cars for the brand’s most passionate collectors. The very first creation under this program is the Brouillard, a unique coupé inspired by Ettore Bugatti’s favorite horse of the same name.
The Brouillard blends extreme performance with artistic design. Powered by a 1,600 PS W16 engine, the car features bodywork shaped like horse muscles, a stunning cathedral-style glass roof, and green-tinted carbon fiber. Inside, there are tartan fabrics and a gear shifter with a hand-crafted sculpture of Ettore’s horse embedded inside.
This special car was made for a dedicated Bugatti collector and draws on the creative legacy of the Bugatti family — from Carlo Bugatti’s fine furniture to Rembrandt Bugatti’s famous bronze animal sculptures.
Bugatti plans to make no more than two Solitaire commissions each year, each one entirely bespoke but based on an existing model. The launch of the Brouillard marks the start of a new era for Bugatti, reviving the historic coachbuilding spirit of the 1920s and ’30s while taking personalization to an unmatched level.
