Bentley has revealed one of its most detailed and eye-catching paint finishes ever — the Ombre by Mulliner. The new design made its debut during Monterey Car Week at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, displayed on the Continental GT Speed.
The Ombre effect creates a smooth fade between two colors across the car’s body. This is not a simple process — it takes more than 56 hours of careful hand-painting by Mulliner’s expert team at Bentley’s Dream Factory in Crewe, England. Each car is unique, as the blending depends on how the colors mix in real time.
The first model features a fade from Topaz at the front to Windsor Blue at the back, highlighting the strong curves of the GT. Even the 22-inch wheels carry the same two-tone finish. Inside, the gradient continues — Topaz-colored leather covers the front, steering wheel, and dashboard, gradually blending into darker Beluga leather toward the rear. Dragonfly stitching adds a final touch of detail.
Bentley will offer Ombre in three curated color combinations to keep the effect balanced and harmonious. Customers can also further customize interiors with Mulliner’s Bespoke Studio, from choosing special leather hides to personalized veneers.
According to Bentley, the Ombre finish is a blend of art and engineering, giving owners a unique chance to turn their car into a moving piece of art.
