Action Bronson is back with another exciting collaboration — this time with G-SHOCK. The rapper and chef has been teasing the upcoming BAKLAVA x G-SHOCK “Desert King” watch, based on the GA-2100GA model.
First revealed in May, the “Desert King” features a translucent brown ocher case and bezel with a rugged, desert-inspired look. The khaki-colored lugs and globe grid dial add a strong visual identity, while the co-branding of BAKLAVA and Casio makes it stand out. The dial also includes unique design details like a day-of-the-week indicator at 9 o’clock and a red window stretching from 3 to 6 o’clock for hours, minutes, and seconds.
On the back, the watch carries a “BAKLAVA WORLDWIDE” engraving alongside G-SHOCK’s signature markings, highlighting its global appeal.
Recently, Action Bronson took to Instagram to direct fans to sign up for notifications on the BAKLAVA website, hinting that the launch could be happening very soon. The hype was further fueled when G-SHOCK’s U.S. Instagram account commented, “It’s time!!” on one of his posts.
Adding to the buzz, Bronson also released a teaser video featuring the California Kingsnake, symbolizing the watch’s rugged and serpentine design theme.
For now, the “Desert King” is expected to launch as a U.S. exclusive, though some international fans may still get access through BAKLAVA-affiliated stores that ship worldwide.
