Australian fashion label Song for the Mute is back with adidas, showing off two new sneaker designs as part of its Spring/Summer 2026 collection in Paris. This continues their creative journey together that started three years ago, with both brands pushing the limits of classic sneaker styles.
The first pair, called SFTM-008, is a fun and bold update to the Tokyo sneaker. Inspired by gym class shoes from childhood, it features eye-catching color blocks and materials like nylon and mesh, giving it a sporty, retro look.
The second pair, SFTM-009, transforms the iconic adidas Samba into something more formal. Named the Samba LX Freizeit, this version comes in deep brown or black leather and resembles a dress shoe with its stitched leather upper and a derby-style sole. It’s a stylish mix of casual and classy, perfect for anyone who likes to dress differently but still stay rooted in sneaker culture.
While these new designs made a splash on the runway in Paris, there’s no official release date yet. But based on past drops, fans can expect them to hit shelves sometime next year.
