Hiroshi Fujiwara Teases fragment design x Union LA x Air Jordan 1 “Sport Royal”

A major sneaker collaboration is on the way. fragment design, Union LA, and Jordan Brand are joining forces to create a special version of the Air Jordan 1 High OG, and one of the standout colorways is the newly revealed “Sport Royal.”

The sneaker was first spotted on the feet of Hiroshi Fujiwara, founder of fragment design, which makes this reveal even more exciting for fans. The shoe mixes elements from both previous Union LA and fragment collaborations. It features Union’s signature stitched collar design and a base that’s inspired by the original “Royal” Air Jordan 1.

This version uses a color mix of black, navy blue, royal blue, and sail (off-white), giving it a vintage yet modern vibe. You’ll find fragment design’s lightning bolt logo stamped near the heel, along with special text on the midsole that highlights the collaboration between the three legendary brands.

Jordan Brand is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Air Jordan 1 in 2025, and this collaboration is shaping up to be one of the biggest releases tied to the celebration. While earlier leaks showed other versions, the “Sport Royal” colorway looks to be a favorite so far.

There’s no official release date yet, but the sneaker is expected to drop in Spring 2026 through Nike SNKRS and select retailers. Keep an eye out — this one will be highly sought after.
