Nike is getting ready to release a new version of the Kobe 4 Protro called “CHBL,” a sneaker that pays tribute to the China High School Basketball League. This special edition joins Nike’s ongoing Kobe series revival and brings fresh energy to the court this summer.
The Kobe 4 Protro “CHBL” features a bold yellow upper that fades into a lighter yellow toward the heel. The design includes black Nike Swooshes and detailing like blue and yellow laces, giving players different style options. There’s also a black Sheath logo on the tongue and a signature detail on the side heel. The midsole is decorated with speckled accents and a color gradient, making the shoe stand out even more.
A new detail inside the shoe is a motivational phrase — “TOUCH THE LINE.” — printed on the insole, likely meant to inspire young athletes to give their all on the court.
The shoe is expected to release in Summer 2025 for $190 USD, available on Nike SNKRS and at select stores. Stay tuned for more photos and the exact release date soon.
