Nike is bringing back more of Kobe Bryant’s classic sneakers, and next up could be a big one — the Nike Kobe 1 Protro “81 Points”.
According to new reports, the Kobe 1 Protro is expected to return in Spring 2026, and the “81 Points” colorway might be one of the first pairs to release. This version celebrates one of Kobe’s greatest moments — scoring 81 points in a single game against the Toronto Raptors on January 22, 2006.
The sneaker was last seen in 2019, when it dropped on the 13th anniversary of that legendary game. With the 20th anniversary coming up in 2026, Nike may choose to release it around that same time again.
The “81 Points” colorway features a clean and bold mix of white, black, court purple, and gold, a nod to the Los Angeles Lakers. While there are no official photos of the 2026 pair yet, it’s expected to look similar to the previous versions.
Right now, Nike hasn’t confirmed the return of the Kobe 1 Protro or the exact price. But if you're a Kobe fan or a sneaker collector, this is definitely a release to keep an eye on.
Stay tuned for updates as we get closer to Spring 2026.
