New Balance is bringing something fresh to the table with its upcoming ABZORB 2000 sneakers. This new model mixes early 2000s running shoe vibes with today’s streetwear style. The result is a bold, futuristic look that’s still easy to wear every day.
The first images of the sneaker came from Gustavo Soares, a stylist from São Paulo. He showed off the shoe’s clean and sporty design, featuring a mesh upper for breathability and synthetic overlays for a modern touch. The design is sleek, with no visible stitching and wavy panels that add to its cool look.
What makes the ABZORB 2000 stand out is its chunky sole with five visible pods and a full-length ABZORB cushioning system — something sneakerheads are comparing to Nike Shox tech. It looks tough, comfy, and stylish all at once.
The model first appeared in a soft baby blue and white colorway, but now we’ve seen new versions too — including brown and cream, pink and white, pastel blue, and even an all-black pair. Interestingly, the usual big “N” logo is missing from the inner side of the shoe, giving it a cleaner profile.
There’s no official release date yet, but the New Balance ABZORB 2000 is expected to launch later this year at New Balance stores and select retailers. Stay tuned for more updates and colorways as the release gets closer.
