The famous New Balance 1300JP sneaker is finally coming back, and fans are excited. This special shoe only releases once every five years, and 2025 marks its 40th anniversary. To celebrate, New Balance is bringing it back on May 29 as part of its “Grey Days” event.
First launched in 1985, the 1300JP is known for its premium quality and rare availability. This year’s version stays true to the original with a mesh upper, soft nubuck overlays, and a mix of blue and brown tones. The sneaker also features ENCAP cushioning for comfort and a black rubber sole for grip. Inside, there’s a smooth white leather lining, and the tongue has a woven label that reads “1300.”
What makes this release even more special is the limited-edition box, designed to look like the original 1985 packaging.
The New Balance MADE in USA 1300JP will be available on May 29 at select stores worldwide for $330 USD. If you’re a New Balance fan or a sneaker collector, this is one release you won’t want to miss.
