After their successful first collab on the Jasper Zionic Sneaker, KEEN and Gramicci are back again — this time with a new outdoor-ready sandal called the Newport Retro Sandal.
Set to release on April 23 for $150 USD, the sandal blends the comfort of a water shoe with the grip and strength of a hiking boot. It’s made from durable hemp material and features Gramicci’s mountain-style zig-zag stitching, giving it a unique and rugged look.
The sandal is built for performance with an adjustable bungee lace system, slip-resistant sole, and hemp-webbing for flexibility. It’s also environmentally friendly — like all KEEN shoes, it’s PFAS-free and pesticide-free.
According to Kohei Yamazaki, KEEN’s head designer in Tokyo, this hemp version of the Newport has been a fan-favorite in the past, especially in Japan. Now, it’s being brought back with a fresh twist as part of Gramicci’s HEMP capsule collection — a project focused on eco-conscious materials.
You can grab the KEEN x Gramicci Newport Retro Sandals on KEEN and Gramicci’s websites. Perfect for hiking, water adventures, or just stylish summer walks.
