Catch All 151 Pokémon on Google with a Fun New Game

Google and Pokémon have joined hands to create a fun surprise for fans — a mini game hidden inside Google Search! You can now catch all 151 original Pokémon from the Kanto region using the Google app on your phone.

This Easter egg turns your Google Search into a playful Pokédex, where you go on a hunt to find and catch your favorite Pokémon. But remember, this only works on the Google mobile app (Android and iPhone). It’s not available on desktop right now.

To start, simply search:
“151 wild Pokémon hiding on Google”
You’ll see a Poké Ball appear in the bottom-right corner. Tap it, sign in with your Google account, and begin your Pokémon journey!

Here’s how it works:

  • Search for the name of any Kanto Pokémon (like Pikachu or Bulbasaur).

  • A Poké Ball will show up — tap it to catch the Pokémon.

  • For tricky names like “Ditto” (which might show the word meaning), just search “Ditto Pokémon” to trigger the Poké Ball.

Your goal is to catch each Pokémon one by one. As you collect more, you’ll unlock special items called Master Balls. These are needed to catch powerful Pokémon like Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mewtwo, and Mew.
You get Master Balls when you catch:

  • 5 Pokémon

  • 20 Pokémon

  • 50 Pokémon

  • 100 Pokémon

  • 150 Pokémon

Each time you reach one of these numbers, a Legendary or Mythical Pokémon will appear for you to catch.

All the Pokémon you find will be saved to your Google account’s Pokédex, so you can keep track of your progress.

This is a fun and nostalgic treat for Pokémon fans — a perfect mix of old-school charm and modern tech. Ready to catch 'em all? Open your Google app and start the adventure today!
