Jordan Brand is bringing back one of its most loved sneakers with a fresh twist. The Air Jordan 1 High OG “UNC Reimagined” is set to release on May 10, and it’s already creating a lot of buzz among sneaker fans.
This new version pays tribute to the original “UNC” colorway from 1985 — a nod to Michael Jordan’s college days at the University of North Carolina. But instead of just copying the classic design, Jordan Brand added an aged look, similar to the 2022 “Lost & Found” release. That means you'll see cracked leather, a yellowed midsole, and faded colors that make the shoe look like it’s been carefully stored for years.
The sneaker is dressed in Dark Powder Blue and Sail, keeping the beloved UNC vibe alive while adding vintage flair. It features the same high-quality leather and classic color blocking that made the original famous.
Priced at $180 USD, the “UNC Reimagined” will be available via Nike SNKRS and select retailers. If you’re a fan of throwback styles with a modern twist, this is one drop you won’t want to miss.
