Carpet Company and Vans have teamed up once again to create a fresh take on a classic sneaker. This time, they’ve reworked the Vans Old Skool 36, drawing inspiration from Vans’ iconic 1977 Style 36 model. Limited to just 1,977 pairs, this release is as exclusive as it is stylish.
The sneaker comes in a clean white and yellow colorway, with a black form strip adding contrast. Details include a red co-branded logo on the tongue and a silver Carpet Company star on the heel. The off-white outsole has a vintage, yellowed look, while a yellow pull tab on the back adds a functional touch. Inside the tongue, each pair is numbered, making every sneaker unique, with additional branding from both Carpet Company and Vans underneath.
This collaboration highlights the creativity of Carpet Company, led by Baltimore-based brothers Ayman and Osama Abdeldayem, and their ability to blend skate culture with modern design. The Old Skool 36+ is another standout addition to their ongoing partnership with Vans, following successful reworks of the Skate Cab 4 and Half Cab.
The Carpet Company x Vans Skate Old Skool 36+ will release in 2025. Stay tuned for more details on how to grab your pair from Carpet Company’s official channels. With only 1,977 pairs available, this drop is sure to sell out quickly!
