Swedish running brand UNNA has partnered with HOKA for their very first sneaker collaboration, and the result is both playful and performance-driven — the Speedgoat 2 with detachable caterpillar charms.
The collab introduces two new colorways: Astral/Galaxy, which features a metallic silver look, and Sea Ice/Cosmic Grey, a white version with a tan midsole. Both pairs come with detachable rubber caterpillars, symbolizing transformation and growth. UNNA explained, “We’re all caterpillars with the potential to become beautiful butterflies.”
For design, the Speedgoat 2 keeps its trusted performance build, including an engineered mesh upper, protective overlays, Vibram® Megagrip outsole for traction, and reflective webbing for safety. On the toe box, you’ll spot the words “GOOD PLACE,” serving as a reminder that running is about feeling good, not just winning.
UNNA founder John-Ruben Holtback shared that the Speedgoat 2 has been his go-to trail shoe for years, making this collaboration with HOKA both natural and meaningful. Inspired by ultrarunner Karl Meltzer, the shoe combines durability, comfort, and now, a touch of creativity.
