Nike is teaming up with Victor Victor Worldwide, the record label led by music producer Steven Victor, for a special release of the Air Max DN8. Known for his love of cars, Steven brought automotive culture into the design of two exclusive colorways: “NYC” and “Tokyo.”
The NYC pair comes in an all-black upper with colorful details inspired by automotive airfoil schematics – how air moves around a car. The bottom sole carries rainbow dots, while darkened Air Max bubbles add depth to the midsole. Bright laces and a Victor Victor helmet keytag make the sneaker even more special.
The Tokyo edition contrasts the NYC look with a shiny silver upper, chrome accents, and carbon fiber details at the heel – all nods to racing materials. Icy blue “VICTOR” soles and subtle Victor Victor graphics inside the shoe complete the design.
The NYC colorway will be released first, followed by the Tokyo version. Before the official launch, the Cars & Kicks event in Brooklyn will host a pre-release for invited guests, giving them the chance to buy the NYC pair early.
