Chevrolet has introduced an exciting new concept car — the Corvette CX.R Vision Gran Turismo — at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering. This powerful, futuristic design was created for the popular video game Gran Turismo 7, where players will be able to drive it later this month.
The CX.R Vision Gran Turismo takes inspiration from Corvette’s racing heritage and pushes it into a new era of electrification and extreme performance. Its design features a very low stance, sharp aerodynamic elements, and a striking yellow-and-black racing livery that nods to Corvette’s endurance racing history.
Inside, the car focuses purely on performance with lightweight carbon fiber, racing seats, and a cockpit built for speed rather than comfort.
Under the hood, it combines a mid-mounted 2.0L twin-turbo V8 engine that makes up to 900 horsepower with three electric motors. Together, they deliver an incredible 2,000 horsepower to all four wheels. The V8 runs on renewable e-fuel and can rev up to 15,000 rpm, while the electric motors provide instant torque and advanced handling through torque vectoring.
Although this Corvette will not be available for real-world purchase, fans will soon get to experience it in Gran Turismo 7. The CX.R Vision Gran Turismo shows Chevrolet’s vision of what the future of racing could look like — powerful, electrified, and built for speed.
