Cadillac has revealed its bold new concept car called the Elevated Velocity at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering. This all-electric crossover mixes high performance with luxury and futuristic design.
The name comes from two sides of its personality: “Elevated” for its luxurious and relaxing interior, and “Velocity” for its fast, high-performance electric power. It’s built on a lifted platform with massive 24-inch wheels, giving it both road precision and off-road strength—perfect for desert terrains.
Inside, the SUV feels like something from the future. It has immersive drive modes that change the cabin atmosphere:
-
Welcome Mode opens the gull-wing doors and lights up the panels.
-
Elevate Mode creates a recovery lounge with light therapy, breathing visuals, and hidden controls.
-
Velocity Mode sharpens driving focus with blue lighting, an AR navigation display, and a deployable steering wheel.
It also has different driving settings like e-Velocity for road use, Terra for off-road, and Sand Vision for sandy conditions.
The design is just as striking. The body comes in Vapor Blue with grey undertones, inspired by glacial ice, while the red interior is inspired by desert polo. Vertical taillights, fluted lighting, and sculpted lines make it stand out as a true future SUV.
Although the Elevated Velocity won’t go into production, it shows Cadillac’s ambition to go beyond luxury SUVs and move into the world of hyper-performance electric crossovers.
