San Diego-based skate shop Arts-Rec is bringing fresh energy to a classic Nike silhouette. After revealing their Nike SB Dunk Low earlier this year, Arts-Rec has now teamed up with Nike SB once again—this time on the Air Trainer 1, set to launch on July 18.
This special version of the SB Air Trainer 1 is full of bold colors and detailed textures. It features a mix of warm tones like rust orange, deep red, and pink, paired with black suede overlays. The toe and heel areas include animal print accents, giving the shoe a wild and eye-catching touch.
One standout detail is the black Velcro strap across the midfoot. On the left shoe, it reads "rec", while the right one says "arts", paying tribute to the name of the shop. A pink Nike Swoosh adds contrast, and earthy tones like limestone and desert sand round out the design.
It’s been five years since Nike SB last released an Air Trainer 1, making this drop even more special for sneakerheads and skaters alike. Designed to match the Arts-Rec SB Dunk Low, this pair blends skate culture, color, and performance in a creative way.
