The beloved character Babar the Elephant is now the star of a new limited-edition watch, thanks to a fun and creative collaboration between Rowing Blazers and Bamford London. Inspired by the classic French children’s book Histoire de Babar, this watch brings the story to life in a whole new way.
This is the first time Babar has appeared on a watch. His arms are used as the hour and minute hands, adding a playful twist to the design. The watch features a 40mm stainless steel case with a black dial showing Babar in his green suit and golden crown. A rotating bezel with two green tones matches his outfit perfectly.
The watch runs on a Sellita SW330-2 automatic movement, which means it winds itself as you wear it. It also includes a second time zone feature, making it great for travelers. The watch is water-resistant up to 10 ATM, so it can handle splashes or a quick swim.
Only 99 pieces of this special Babar GMT watch are available, each priced at $2,348 USD. You can buy it now on the official Rowing Blazers and Bamford London websites.
