The iconic Air Jordan 8 “Aqua” is making a comeback this summer! After being released in 1993 and brought back in 2007, 2015, and 2018, the beloved sneaker is expected to return again on July 19, 2025, in full family sizes.
The “Aqua” is known for its bold style and colorful details. This year’s version stays true to the original look, featuring a black and grey upper with bright aqua blue and purple accents on the midsole. However, one small change is noticeable — the usual sparkle effect on the midsoles is gone, giving the shoe a more clean and grown-up appearance.
Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the AJ8 includes a midfoot strap for support and an inner bootie system for a snug fit. The top of the tongue features a tri-color Jumpman logo, adding a classic touch.
This sneaker was first seen on Michael Jordan during the 1993 NBA All-Star Game and has become one of the most famous colorways in the Jordan line.
The Air Jordan 8 “Aqua” will retail for $210 USD and will be available at Nike and select retailers. Whether you’re a longtime fan or new to the sneaker game, this is a must-have pair for summer 2025!
