CNCPTS and New Balance Release the 1000 "Mile" Sneaker This Week

 

Inspired by a rare $1,000 bill and St. Patrick’s Day.

CNCPTS and New Balance are teaming up once again to release the 1000 "Mile", a sneaker inspired by the historic $1,000 banknote and celebrating St. Patrick’s Day. The sneaker will officially launch on March 14 via CNCPTS, with in-store raffles leading up to the release.

This design follows CNCPTS’ famous 998 "C-Note" project, which also paid tribute to U.S. currency. The 1000 "Mile" takes inspiration from the 1890 $1,000 note, which is extremely rare, with only two known to exist. The shoe features hot pink accents on the forefoot and tongue branding, reflecting the red seal on the original banknote. The layered upper combines shades of green and off-white, symbolizing wealth while also tying into the St. Patrick’s Day theme.

Although pricing details are yet to be confirmed, the CNCPTS x New Balance 1000 "Mile" is expected to be priced around $150 USD. Sneaker fans can grab a pair exclusively through CNCPTS stores and their online shop. Stay tuned for more updates!
