A rare and stealthy Koenigsegg Agera, one of only seven early examples from the model's 2010 production year, is set to hit the auction block. This stunning hypercar will be auctioned by RM Sotheby’s, with an estimated value of up to $2,450,000 USD.
This Agera, nicknamed “X,” features an understated exposed matte carbon fiber body with striking red accent stripes. It’s powered by a twin-turbocharged 5.0L V8 engine that produces an impressive 950 horsepower, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Its standout design includes a Formula 1-inspired two-tier rear wing and turbine-style Vortex Generating Rims, which enhance brake cooling and downforce.
Originally commissioned in 2011 for a German collector, the car received a refreshed interior in 2020 at the Koenigsegg factory. The cabin now boasts black leather and Alcantara with red stitching, brushed aluminum details, and a touch of Swedish pride with the flag embroidered on the seats.
The Agera “X” has participated in exclusive Koenigsegg events, including Ghost Squadron supercar tours. Despite being driven over 20,000 kilometers, it remains in excellent condition, with a recent service completed in October 2024.
This exceptional hypercar will be part of RM Sotheby’s Paris Sale on February 4. Collectors and car enthusiasts alike are eagerly awaiting the chance to own a piece of automotive history.
